Lamb is very hard to get over here, mostly people eat chicken or pork, however I love lamb. It seems the only time of the year it is easy to get is for May 6th, St. Georges day.
So one option is to speak to a local person and ask to buy a whole lamb from them, the cost is around 3 Leva per kilo, but it is alive, so the dirty deed has to be done! who will do this? well I have found a man who says he will come and do it, then the idea is to get someone else to show me how to butcher it up, then next year I can do it for myself.
Sally is at home eagerly awaiting the new arrival, I hope she does not get too attached to it! Will keep you informed.
